About Us

I am Olivia Leigh Black, founder, Liv Lash Boutique. Formerly known as Chicago Lash Lounge, Chitown’s 3rd Lash studio was established in 2010. I was trained privately in Hollywood, California in 2007. I took Esthetician classes at the Naperville G institute in 2009, and opened Chicago Lash Lounge 3 months after graduation. With a well-established clientele and now almost  18 1/2 years in the beauty industry, knowing how profitable and always growing this industry is, I switched my focus and instead started attending private classes, conferences, and beauty shows. I got involved with everything related to the beauty industry; Brow sculpting and facial Waxing, Eyelash Extensions, Body Sculpting Cavitation / Emsculpt. Custom Spray Tanning. My biggest success is seeing my client’s faces when they leave the studio feeling pretty and with a new sense of self-confidence. I’ve been in the industry for more than 18 1/2 years and I believe I will retire doing this because it’s what I love.

After the tragedy of 9/11, I moved from New Orleans in 2001, to Chicago to start a new life and learn from some of the best artists in the Industry. I worked for several Makeup Bridal beauty companies and department stores selling Estee Lauder and Lancome.  I established my own Bridal beauty company “Eyelashes by Olivia” 2004-2009. I was lucky to have the opportunity to work with Mario Tricoci in the bridal magazine Chicago Style Weddings in 2011.  Over the years I made more press with the combination of my Psychic Medium Abilities. People were coming to my eyelash studio just to get readings sometimes. It’s an honor to know that I help people both inside & out. Aesthetically & Existentially! I gained press with it in 2013 when WGN interviewed me and coined the title “Chicago’s Own Psychic Esthetician”

I have been Blessed to open 2 public storefronts in Lakeview / Roscoe Village in Chicago. Now after time and the pandemic, I decided my best location is by appointment only. * In my exclusive Private location. I feel I can better serve my guests, respecting their time and safety concerns, with the bonus of free parking! Something that was nearly impossible with a storefront in the past. New location in Jefferson Park – Ohare airport area.
